About the Role
Scaffolders play a critical role in industrial and construction environments by providing safe access solutions for work at height. They are responsible for assembling, modifying, inspecting, and dismantling scaffolding systems in accordance with engineering specifications and safety regulations. Their work ensures that all elevated platforms are structurally sound, stable, and compliant with SABIC and international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding structures as per project drawings and safety guidelines.
- Inspect scaffolding components for defects, damage, or instability before and after installation.
- Ensure all platforms, guardrails, and supports meet load‑bearing and height‑safety requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to provide safe access for ongoing activities.
- Conduct routine checks and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain strict compliance with SABIC safety procedures and site regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in scaffolding work within industrial or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, load calculations, and height‑work safety. - Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
- Experience in SABIC or large industrial projects is an advantage.
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
